We proudly announce that today, on February 27, 2024
This opening ceremony , with the participation of the UNHCR Chief of mission , is a symbol of solidarity and global support for refugees and shows that with cooperation and commitment, the foundations of a better future can be built for people who have fled war and insecurity. This new center, beyond a simple office, will act as a base of hope for all Afghan refugees and asylum seekers; Where they can go for legal aid, education and social support.
The initiative also provides opportunities for communication and cultural exchange between Afghan refugees and asylum seekers and the host community in India, which can help foster mutual understanding and respect between cultures. Through planning events, workshops and educational activities, the office can act as a cultural and social growth center that not only helps people to enhance their life and career skills, but also encourages them to preserve and share culture and It renews its traditions in a new environment.
Also, the office can act as a focal point for international, governmental and non-governmental organizations seeking to support Afghan refugees and asylum seekers, allowing resources and assistance to be more effectively channeled and distributed.
The opening of this office is an important step in the path of cooperation and progress, and we hope that this is only the beginning of further efforts and future successes in supporting the Afghan immigrant community around the world.
