The Afghan Solidarity Committee (ASC), with the generous support of Muslim Hands UK under their 2024 project, proudly announces the successful completion of a one-month Sewing Course for Afghan refugee women. At the completion ceremony, participants were awarded Certificates of Completion along with a Sewing Machine for each of them. The primary aim of this project was to empower Afghan women with sewing skills, enabling them to work from home and contribute to supporting their families financially. ASC remains dedicated to empowering Afghan women and is committed to initiating more such projects in different parts of Delhi NCR to uplift and support the refugee community. We extend our gratitude to Muslim Hands UK and all those who made this project a success.

This initiative aimed to equip women with essential sewing skills, enabling them to work from home and support their families. ASC is committed to launching similar projects in various parts of Delhi NCR to continue empowering Afghan women and fostering self-reliance within the refugee community.
